One World Religion News The World Is Moving Toward The False Prophet

Bible prophecy is coming to pass right before our eyes if we will simply open them to see what is going on around us.  “One world religion news” is searched for many times per day.  In this article I will show you how the world is moving toward the False Prophet described in Revelation 13 and toward a one world religion.  Jesus said in Matthew 24:24, “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.”  Satan has always been bent on deceiving humanity, and he has used false religion for millennia in order to do so.

In Moses’ day in Egypt, Pharaoh’s magicians demonstrated supernatural power.  I believe we will see a resurgence of supernatural power in the occult and false religions of the world.  So, do not be deceived just because supernatural power is seen.  Just because the supernatural is present, including great signs and miracles, that does not mean that it is from God.

While many false prophets have risen and are still active in the earth, the Bible speaks of a “beast out of the earth”, a “false prophet” who will empower the Antichrist and his agenda.  He will be the spokesperson for a one world religion, and will assist the Antichrist even creating an image that is able to speak and will cause many in the earth in that day to worship the Antichrist.  He will also be one who will promote the world economic system and the taking of the Mark of the beast.  One world religion news should be a topic that we all understand.  I will give a great deal of biblical attention to the False prophet in the second half of this article.

Before I do so, I want to give you four different proofs that things are happening just as the bible predicted they would.   These things are very unnerving to read about but as believers in Christ we must stay informed.

The latest in one world religion news:

1. Coexist Bumper Stickers

If you have driven in any major city in the USA, you have probably seen the most outward sign of a move toward a one world religion. It is the Coexist bumper sticker.  It subtly promotes the mentality of the modern world and New Age thinking. It basically says that all religions are the same and we should just learn to coexist in order to make the world a better place.

While this is a nice sounding sentiment, it is as far from the teachings of Jesus as can be.  Jesus himself clearly stated in John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  All religions are not the same. Christianity is true and all of the others are false.  Until Jesus rescinds the Great Commission, believers in Jesus need to take the gospel to the world.  It goes against the basic tenant of Christianity to resign ourselves to peacefully coexist.  There is only one name given under heaven whereby men can be saved.  If we are to speak the truth then coexistence as they mean it is impossible.

These bumper stickers have their origin from a man named Piotr Mlodozeniec, a Polish graphic designer. He came up with the image in 2001, for a traveling exhibit run by the Museum on the Seam.  The museum is a private institution in Jerusalem that describes itself as a “socio-political contemporary art museum.” In its original form, the design only incorporated three symbols—a Muslim crescent for the “C”, a Jewish Star of David for the “X”, and the Christian cross for the “T”.   It has been changed to incorporate more types of religious symbols.

While not promoting a one world religion exactly, it does show the liberal mindset that all religions are basically the same, and that all religions must be tolerated.  It shows a move toward oneness and a false type of spiritual unity.  This is no doubt the first baby step toward bringing about the full agenda of a one world government.

2. A Pope that is reaching out to people of all world religions.

It is hard for some people to wrap their head around the fact that the Pope, the supposed vicar or substitute of Christ on earth would be one of the individuals who would propagate the false idea that all religions lead to God. Yet that is exactly what he does.  If you have not seen this video, it is worth a few minutes of your time.

The statement that concerns me is the following made by Pope Francis: “Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God,” That is absolutely not true. We are not all children of God according to the New Testament.

This directly contradicts what Jesus said, He didn’t see the world as “all children of God.” He said in John 8:44 “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Sorry Pope Francis, but Buddhism is a lie, Islam is a lie.  Judaism today has rejected the Messiah. You cannot be saved by following the law of Moses.  But apparently, the Pope wants to unite all religions under the banner of “unity” and “tolerance”.

Will the false prophet rise up from out of the Catholic church?  Many believe so. I do not know the answer to that question, but they certainly seem to be the one leading the way.  This is not a new phenomenon.  The Catholic church has been fully committed to Ecumenism for decades. But bringing about “unity in diversity” only brings a false sense of unity that accomplishes nothing and dilutes the power of the gospel.

3. Major meetings bringing the heads of world religions together at the UN.

The World Council of Religious Leaders was formed on June 12, 2002.  Here is a picture of its founding members.  According to its charter they are looking for the following type of people:

“The World Council seeks to include distinguished representatives of the major faith traditions, as well as outstanding individuals of recognized spiritual stature. It will seek to develop balanced representation among the religions as its essential goal is to form a strong body of eminent religious leaders who can work together to address critical world problems in concert with the United Nations, skill in interreligious dialogue is necessary.”

Their charter is already geared toward inclusion among all religions of the world.  They meet every year, and at times have had special meetings.

During the time of Jacobs trouble, more commonly known as the Tribulation Period, this group along with others like it will gladly embrace a man who will be able to perform lying signs and wonders.  As we will see below the false prophet will be possessed by demonic spirits and will deceive.  He will offer religion without the demands of morality.

This is yet another step toward a one world religion. When “eminent religious leaders” deceived by the false prophet, endorse both the false prophet and his one world religion and the antichrist and his one world government. You can bet that many from the rank and file of religious systems around the world will follow suit.

4. An uninformed populace of Laodicean church members who do not know the Word of God.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ you need to spend time every day studying your Bible, hiding it in your heart, and growing in knowledge and grace.  You need to develop a real walk with the God so that you can hear the sweet voice of your guide the Holy Spirit.

The saddest part of this article is the fact that the great bulk of the church world knows precious little about what is happening in the spiritual world around them.   Many believers live as though this earth was everything to them. Many have become a part of the Laodicean Church that Jesus spoke of.  They think they are fine, and have it all, but actually are blind, poor, and not ready for what will happen.  Jesus warned us of this in Revelation 3:14-17

“‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:   “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.  Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—”

Jesus the Faithful and True Witness has revealed by the Holy Spirit that there will be a False Prophet who will deceive.  Yet in many churches, these scriptures are never taught, read or even thought about.  The church has to get back to teaching the entire Word of God.  How about you? Are you an informed believer, understanding the days and what is happening around us? Or are you simply living your life like so many do pretending that all is well with the world.

UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLICAL ROLE OF THE FALSE PROPHET

What are the characteristics of the false prophet? During the end times one world religion news will be dominated by this beast who will deceive many.  All quotations below are from Revelation 14. I will let the scripture speak for itself.

        1.   HE IS A BEAST “Then I saw another beast coming out of the earth”

He is not loyal to heaven as he has arisen from the earth. This phrase describes him, in the same terms as the antichrist beast he will support. He is a beast.  But this individual will be able to clothe himself in sheep’s clothing.  He will seem to be the right-hand man of the antichrist promoting his agenda in many different ways some of which are described below.

        2.  HE WILL COME GENTLY LIKE A LAMB “He had two horns like a lamb”

 Jesus is referred to as the lamb of God and of course he took away the sins of the world. The False Prophet comes in deception…he looks like a lamb, but he is actually a beast with two horns. Lambs are meek and mild animals, horns speak of authority.

This person is a deceiver…he appears to be one thing but it turns out he is another.  Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Beware of those who say they are one thing but are another.  This man will be a massive deceiver causing many to worship the beast and take his mark.

        3.   HE IS INSPIRED BY SATAN “He spoke like a dragon”

This tells us the that he will derive power of speech from the devil who is the dragon.  We know that Satan is a deceiver.  The false prophet will also say many deceitful words.  We must remember that Satan is not against religion, he is however against people coming to Christ.

Remember that Satan appears as an angel of light.  This will make his words very deceiving! With his many words he will persuade those of many faiths to join together in a one world religion. We are already seeing this take place in the world under a false banner of unity.

4.   HE WILL EXERCISE THE AUTHORITY OF THE ANTICHRIST  “He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his       behalf.”

 The close relationship of these two world leaders is seen in this statement.  The false prophet will be given authority by the Antichrist himself.  His whole goal will be to work toward the complete dominance of the earth by the antichrist himself.  This will include a type of religion that the antichrist is satisfied with. This will not be a religion that promotes morality.

5.  HE WILL CAUSE MANY TO BE DAMNED BY HAVING THEM WORSHIP THE BEAST “(He) made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast.”

With the authority of the antichrist and gaining his speech from Satan he will be able to speak to many differing religious factions and create unity.  His main goal will be to drive the people to worship antichrist.   Some believe that Satan may well inhabit the antichrist body after the fatal wound and will proclaim himself God and enjoy for a season the worship of human beings.  The False prophet could well be described as the high priest of the antichrist religious system.

6. HE WILL HAVE SUPERNATURAL SATANIC POWER “He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.  And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.”

Supernatural Satanic signs will be done by this man.  Even to the degree where he calls down fire from heaven.  He will be revered and listened to but he is a deceiver.  His signs are meant to deceive humanity.

NOTE:  God has not left those alive on the earth at this time without signs that he exists and that his grace is available.  The warnings of scripture not to participate in the mark, the rapture, the two witnesses, the witness of the 144,000 across the earth, and the fulfillment of one prophecy after another.  All of this is done by a loving God wanting people to turn to Him for salvation through Jesus Christ.

7. HE WILL CREATE A MASSIVE IMAGE OF THE BEAST TO DECIEVE THE WORLD “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ”

What type of image will this be? Who knows? But it will seem to be alive, will speak, and will cause those who refuse to worship the image to be killed.

8. HE WILL PROMOTE THE ANTICHRIST AGENDA OF THE MARK  He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,  and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or^[f] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.   Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

It is not within the scope of this article to completely discuss all things relating to the Antichrist and his agenda.

Conclusion:

One world religion news is not complete if we do not understand the role of the false prophet and the rise of a one world religious system.

We are seeing the fulfillment of prophecy right before eyes as the spirit of this age prepares the way for the rising of the False Prophet and his false religious systems.  All religion is not the same.  Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Him. Now is the time, today is the day to get one’s heart right with God.  We need to have a return to the truths that are found written in the Word of God. Deception is real.  Satan has been in the business of deceiving the world for many thousands of years. He has perfected his craft.  Do not be deceived.

There is only one name given under heaven whereby men can be saved and that is the name of Jesus Christ.   It was through his sacrifice on the cross that opened up the way for you and I to receive his righteousness.  Accept Christ today! Live for him today! All lukewarm believers need to examine themselves to see if they are in the faith.  Find a church that teaches the entire Word of God. Become a part of it and serve Jesus.
